Precepts: Romans, Part 2 @ Educational Wing - Room 102
Nov 1 @ 6:00 pm – 8:30 pm

LADIES’ PRECEPTS INDUCTIVE BIBLE STUDY will begin Thursday, SEPTEMBER 6TH, continuing their study of the book of Romans. In Part 2 of Romans we’ll study how we’re free from the guilt and power of sin, but what about the flesh? We’ll discover how justification by faith relates to day-by-day living through the Holy Spirit’s power – the amazing process of sanctification. To preview the first lesson, click here.

This year we’ll only be offering a Thursday evening class this time that meets every other week.

IGNITE: Exile Night
Nov 2 @ 5:30 pm – 9:30 pm

UBC will be hosting an “exile night” for teens ages 12-18 on Friday, November 2nd from 5:30-9:30 p.m.

Exile Night is an opportunity us to help our teens identify with their persecuted family in Christ in a tangible way, experiencing a small piece of what displaced believers face every day. For one night they will be inspired that faith in Christ is what matters—even when it costs everything.

The goal of Exile Night is for our teens to gain an understanding of what Christian refugees experience, to be encouraged by their faith in Christ, and to stand with their persecuted family in a practical way.

More information will be provided as we plan this important evening.

Celebrate Recovery @ Cafe
Nov 2 @ 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm

This program uses the encouragement of the Bible to apply God’s grace and strength to the 12 steps and 8 principles of recovery. UBC hosts the Celebrate Recovery group every Friday night starting at 6:00 p.m. in the UBC Cafe. For more information, contact the program director, Eric Young, at his information above.

For Men Only @ Library
Nov 5 @ 6:30 pm – 8:30 pm

Every aspect of a man’s life is created by God for his good and God’s glory, but our enemy’s main tactic is to distort those areas into enslaving habits and addictions. When that happens, scripture describes that entrapment as a “snare” (Proverbs 7:23). The more men try to fight these snares by themselves, the tighter the noose gets. If you’re beginning to feel enslaved in some area, For Men Only is a brotherhood of men actively working with Christ to break free from enslaving habits and addictions.

If you would like more information on For Men Only, or if you would like to be mentored by one of the men in our community, please contact Dwight at the information above and we’ll be in touch.

For Men Only meets weekly except for the weeks of the Men’s Group Study.
