All gifts shall be considered non-binding suggestions. Union Baptist Church is a 501(c)(3) so all donations are tax deductible. If you are a regular attender of UBC this donation will also be included on your annual contribution receipt delivered in January. Givers who are not regular attenders will also be sent contribution statements to be mailed no later than January for the prior year.

As Christians, we proclaim that everything we have is a gift from God and that he has given to us abundantly in his good pleasure. Members have committed to support UBC financially—not out of compulsion or guilt, but out of freedom and in gratitude to the work of God in their lives and through the church.

UBC has three different giving selections for offerings: the general offering that goes to the upkeep and wellbeing of the church, the fellowship offering that helps our community and members during times of financial crises, and the outreach offering which supports workers serving God in different cultures around the world. If you would like to contribute, simply place your money in the offering basket on Sunday, or bring it by the church office during the week

UBC offers online giving in addition to giving opportunities on Sunday morning. To donate online, simply fill out the form on the left side of the screen. You will need to set up a giving profile the first time, but after that it should auto-load for you.

Please make checks payable to Union Baptist Church. Cash and checks may be dropped off in the offering plates during our worship service or in person at the church offices. They may also be mailed to our Finance department at the address below:

Knowing that God wants us to be faithful and generous givers, we counsel, guide and direct our church in the management of finances. Our finance committee and elders review and analyze monthly financial statements to direct the mission of our church, stewarding well the resources given to the church by our people.

Each year, an annual budget is presented to the church body for review, analysis, questions and approval. The body is also kept informed weekly of the status of our giving through a brief table in our weekly bulletin and also at quarterly business meetings through a more in-depth analysis regarding the status of our giving and expenditures in budgeted areas. The operating budget is fundamental to our accountability, transparency and integrity.

A qualified group of church members performs an annual audit of our finances - these are members who are not involved in our church staff or affiliated with our finance committee in any way.
