The Farises

David started on the mission field in January 1992, Sharon in January 2001 (with Sarah) & Susan, July 2003.

David and Sharon Faris are missionaries with Assemblies of God World Missions. They work in eastern Chad among the Zaghawa people, a people group who has been profoundly touched by the DarFur crisis in Sudan. Their main goal at this time is to produce an alphabet for the language they are working in, as preparation for the translation of the Scriptures into their language. God blessed them with the opportunity to produce 32 radio programs, and Scripture lessons to systematically share the Word of God with this people. They began broadcasting in October 2005. Please pray for these messages to be used by the Holy Spirit to draw many people to Christ.
Sharon is primarily involved in the home school education of their daughter Sarah, who is now in second grade. She is also an encouragement to many of the missionary ladies they come in contact with, and hosts a ladies Bible study on Wednesday afternoons. The Rancans

Sandro and Hope Rancan, Emily, Eric, Emerson, and Edison serve the Lord with New Tribes Mission in Brazil. They are currently serving at Word of Life Seminary in Atibaia, where they help out as counsellors to a married couples group. Emerson and Edson continue homeschooling and enjoy playing on soccer teams in town. Eric has earned his Private Pilot License, and is working on a commercial pilot's license.

George and Kathy Ross serve with Trans-World Radio in Guam. George is the TWR coordinator, and Kathy is a hostess for TWR housing and helps in monitor coordination.
