We believe students are a vital part of our community! UBC works to train Jr. High and Highschool students to follow Christ, connect with each other, and engage the world through teaching during the Sunday Bible Classes on Sundays and a variety of small and large group events and activities throughout the year. Our youth group consists of rising 7th-12th graders.

During the academic year (Sep-May) Jr. High (7th & 8th) students meet to enjoy interactive teaching from the scriptures on Sundays from 9:00-10:15 a.m. All high school students are encouraged to join and interact with the adults in their class options to encourage relationship building between generations.

Each Sunday night at 5:30 p.m. during the academic year the Jr. High and Highschool students get together to worship and learn together. Our focus in the evenings is on worship, rest, play and building community with other students.  All students meet in the Youth Room at UBC.

We try to have a missions trip in place once a year that specifically focuses on taking teens and young adults out of their usual environment and placing them in situations that will grow their faith and give them experiences with other cultures.

A couple times a year, usually in the Fall and Spring, we take our youth away to Camp Sentinel in Tuftonboro, NH. Our focus is to spend time studying, learning, and playing together away from the teens' regular environments.

There are also numerous other events IGNITE holds throughout the year. Sledding days down the huge back hill of the church, service opportunities, game nights, and others.

If you have questions about IGNITE, or for more details, email Seth at We would enjoy meeting with you to tell you more about UBC’s youth ministry.
